There are a lot of things that we love about living here in Milwaukee and one of our favorites is the local radio station that you'll hear when you come into our shop here in Riverwest, 88Nine Radio Milwaukee. Radio Milwaukee is a 501(c)3 non-profit local radio station that is fully supported by members, donors, underwriters and volunteers. In the ever static world of corporate radio stations, 88Nine focuses on local music and music from smaller bands all over the US and world. They have great DJ's, excellent new music and even have a live stream on their website so you can listen to their music whenever and wherever you are...
Two years ago at Interbike we introduced a new product called the Six Fyx. It was mostly a prototype at the time and we brought it to Interbike to see what bike shops and industry folks thought about it. Here's our latest Tech Notes from Joel here at Fyxation how he shaved a few pounds off of his rig by going tubeless.
Here at Fyxation we pride ourselves in making high quality, functional and affordable bikes, frames, parts and accessories. Due to the nature of manufacturing, we make a large portion of our products in Taiwan. However, over the last few years we've made it a point to try to locally source or manufacture in house a larger percentage of our products. In 2012 we introduced our Gates pedal straps that we make right here in Milwaukee and have since sold thousands of them here in the US and abroad....
