Milwaukee Made Messenger Bags, Backpacks and More!

Here at Fyxation we pride ourselves in making high quality, functional and affordable bikes, frames, parts and accessories.  Due to the nature of manufacturing, we make a large portion of our products in Taiwan. However, over the last few years we've made it a point to try to locally source or manufacture in house a larger percentage of our products.  In 2012 we introduced our Gates pedal straps that we make right here in Milwaukee and have since sold thousands of them here in the US and abroad.

In late 2013, we continued our commitment to manufacture more products locally with the launch of our Tannery Collection. The Tannery Collection was a big leap for us because instead of working with a local manufacturer like we did with our Gates Straps, we decided to move the production of these products in house.  Initially this was a huge challenge and we had to make a large investment in material and equipment but eventually the investment paid off and the Tannery Collection has proven to be our most successful product launch in the short history of our company.  

With this as a background, we are proud to introduce our newest Milwaukee made collection of goods.  Starting with our new Humboldt Roll Top backpack, we are getting ready to release a complete line of messenger bags, backpacks and laptop/tablet sleeves.  All these items are Milwaukee Made and will be available in our new retail store at 2943 N. Humboldt Blvd right here in Riverwest (Milwaukee), on our website and through participating Fyxation dealers.  We've been designing these bags for months and are confident that the mix of performance features, durable materials and affordable price points will help these bags appeal to a wide range of cyclists and non-cyclists. 

The messenger bag and backpack market is extremely crowded with products being sold by a wide mix of companies. Without naming names, their marketing ranges from edgy with a "who cares" attitude to elitist, which the bike industry already has WAY to much of. We proudly make our bags in Milwaukee and we're honored to be able to design and sell the products we do. No attitude, no exclusivity. Just great functional bags at a great price.
