Eastside Flag Series - Chicago Flag

The Fyxation Flag Series is a limited edition custom bike that we've designed around iconic city flags. These truly one of a kind custom bikes are only available through Fyxation or our local dealers in the cities these flags represent. We only made 40 of each unique design and when they're sold out, that's it. Show your support for your city with this unique custom Fyxation Eastside. 

Design Inspiration

The Chicago Flag is one of the most unique and well designed city flags and we found it fitting that our neighbors to the south would be the second release of our Flag Series bikes.  The flag is full of symbolism with the white stripes, blue stripes and stars all representing different aspects of the city from Lake Michigan, the Chicago River, the North, West and South sides of the city and historic events that shaped Chicago. We borrowed from these design elements and carefully integrated them into this custom bike. We're very excited with the final design and given Chicago's love of their flag, don't expect these bikes to last long.

Fixed Gear or Singlespeed

All Divide Series bikes ship as a single speed so you can coast, but can very easily be converted into a fixed gear by simply rotating the rear wheel using our flip-flop hub. Single speed bikes make a ton of sense in most urban and suburban areas. They are affordable, easy to maintain and repair and make great commuter and get around town bikes. Fyxation bikes are geared for city riding so even with one gear you can cruise around town with ease. 

Tech Specs

The Sunrise is built using 4130 chromoly steel for both the frame and the fork which means this beauty is light and strong. We use only sealed bearing hubs in our wheels which gives the Chicago Flag Bike a smooth ride and is something you typically find in higher end track and road bikes. The Chicago Flag Bike uses durable Kenda gum wall tires which give the bike a classy look while helping you stay on the road. Finally, all Fyxation bikes ship with front and rear brakes! While this may seem silly to point out, most fixies and singlespeeds on the market ship with only one brake which is both unsafe and forces you to spend extra money adding parts after your initial purchase.
