Fyxation Gates BMX Platform Pedals

Here at Fyxation we are fans of all forms of riding. Even though we cater to the urban cyclist and some people think of us as a fixie company, we own and ride all sorts of bikes.

Our latest addition to the Fyxation team, customer service and bike build guru Joel, brings quite a Quiver of bikes into the Fyxation family.  Depending on the day of the week or time of year you can see Joel riding around town on his fat bike, custom Fyxation Eastside, his collection of vintage bikes his BMX rig.

Joel recently went to a local BMX park here in Milwaukee and before he left the office grabbed a set of our Gates platform pedals for his session.  Our Gates pedals are a great wide body nylon platform pedal that were originally designed for our core customer, the urban rider. However, their solid construction, nylon platform pedal body and durable chromoly spindle make them great for BMX riding as well.

Joel snapped a photo of his fresh pedals on his bike before his session and after a few months of hard riding they're still holding up strong.  We also our Gates pedals in a thinner version called the Gates Slim which offer the same durable construction but a slightly thinner profile.  Whatever your style of riding, we're pretty confident that we have a platform pedal for you!
