Answer's DJ Stem & 720 AM Bars

One of the things I love about being in Milwaukee is being surrounded by great cycling companies. COG Magazine is a couple miles away, Milwaukee Bicycle is across town, Sun-Ringle and Wheelsmith are on the North-West side. Case in point, Tom from Answer Products swung by Fyxation yesterday with goodies in tow. He brought over their DJ Stem and ProTAPER 720 AM rise bar to replace the tired set on my Bruiser.

The DJ Stem is a solid 7075 Aluminum platform. Designed for All-mountain riding, this stem is lightweight but stout. Perfect for anyone wanting to run a wide rise bar. Available in 35mm and 50mm lengths, the DJ adapts well to modern trick frames with longer top tubes.

The DJ Stem is available in White, Black, Red or Gold and comes with a 10mm CroMo star nut and clamp bolt that you can run a brake cable through for clean bar spins (standard cap shown here).

Coupled with their 720 AM rise bar with 50mm rise, this set up is stiff and light. The 720 is built with Answer's Pro-taper technology, so you know you are getting the best of weight and performance.

One of the things I love is the clear markings for cut off length on the bar. No second guessing your cut. Yeah, I did use a Sawzall to make the cut. Maybe overkill, but it was over quickly.
